FUSO gifted the FJ with a high power output and a flat torque curve across the rev range, partnering this with selective catalytic reduction, to make it one of the world’s most profitable Euro V engines. A six & nine speed transmission with crawler gear and engine demand based throttle control gives FUSO FJ heavy duty trucks additional flexibility for off road deployment.
Power windows, cruise control, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, air conditioning, central locking and a sleeper cabin ensure drivers remain at their peak performance over their entire journey. Anti-roll bars and multi-leaf rear suspension mean improved road holding, load carrying capacity and improved grip especially at higher speeds.

Profit-Driving Engine
From output to emissions, this engine is equipped for performance. The direct injection diesel engine delivers high output and flat torque to the smooth-shifting six & nine speed transmission. The oil-lubricant fuel pump reduces wear, increasing durability. Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) injects AdBlue® into exhaust gasses, making this one of the world’s most fuel-efficient and profitable Euro V engines.
Peak Performance
The 6.4-liter 6S20 diesel engine reaches 175kW peak power at 2200rpm and an impressive 850Nm peak torque at 1200-1600rpm.
E-Viscous Fan
Intermittent operation of E-Viscous fan reduces load on engine, improving fuel efficiency.
Smooth, Durable Six & Nine Speed Transmission
6 speed for the 4×2 and 9 speed for 6×2 & 6×4 overdrive transmission combines multiple
synchronizer rings and a cable-type shift mechanism to make
shifting smoother and easier. The large diameter clutch
plate and organic clutch material increase durability.
Intelligent Instrument Cluster
The LED panel makes all vital information easily visible. The Trip Mileage Indicator shows distance traveled, average speed, and fuel consumed. Variable green band indicator shows the driver the gear and speed required to minimize fuel consumption.
Suspensions with Enhanced Functionalit
Parabolic front suspension increases comfort and drivability , while the thicker multi-leaf rear suspension now has more leaves to last longer and support heavier loads.
Anti-Roll Bars for Greater Safety
Anti-roll bars improve road grip and vehicle stability, especially when cornering or changing lanes at high speeds. The front anti-roll bar comes as a standard feature.
More Comfortable Cabin
Greater comfort means greater safety. Tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel allows drivers to choose a comfortable driving posture. The sleeper cabin includes a bunk where the driver /co-driver can sleep.
